For this fifth Reparty, LaVallée continues to open its doors to those who have made the place vibrate for the past ten years. Evenings conceived as spaces of encounter, transmission, and freedom, where artists and collectives are invited to imagine and curate a night in their own image.

For this back-to-school edition, curation is entrusted to the Tropical DJipsies, who take us on a generous sonic journey.

Pemba is a Brussels-based DJ of Congolese origin whose sets draw deeply from Afro-house, without ever being confined to it. She began mixing in Central America, where she opened one of the stages at the Tribal Gathering Festival (Panama).

Driven by a singular energy and a clear intention, Pemba transforms the dancefloor into a safe and caring space, where each rhythm invites the release of emotions and a reconnection with oneself and the present moment.

Philippe Nullens, aka Le Grand Méchant Loop, will twist your neurons with gems from everywhere and nowhere. This Brussels-based sound and percussion enthusiast, founder of Giraffes&Penguins (the party where the Tropical DJipsies were born on March 8, 2019), digs, scratches, and unearths little-known musical treasures to deliver sets where tradition and modernity collide at a wild tempo.

Having played at venues and festivals such as Esperanzah!, Couleur Café, Brosella, VK, Szimpla (Budapest), and Fania Live (Vienna), he lands at LaVallée as both your travel agent and your cardio coach.

Nana Buluku is a DJ artist with Beninese and Réunionese roots, born in Montpellier. Through their practice, Nana seeks to connect and transmit. Moving between modernity and tradition, they explore musical forms that carry ancestral histories.

Nana develops a polymorphic approach to sound. A child of RnB and soul, drifting from US rap to Congolese rumba, through batida, Jersey club, Miami bass, and afrobeat, Nana builds a sonic space of emancipation, resilience, and healing. Under their sets, the dancefloor once again becomes a place of memory and resistance, where individuality and community meet and harmonize.

No need to introduce the cosmic quartet of the Tropical DJipsies, who radiate across the Brussels electronic scene! Led by RaQL, DiDi, 3afifa, and Chel, the collective weaves sonic narratives blending electronic music, traditional chants, and solar basslines.

Their sets are true collective ceremonies, where each pulse becomes an invitation to freedom, dance, and sharing.
To close this Reparty #5, RaQL&DiDi take control of the dancefloor and will make LaVallée vibrate with the solar and transcendent energy they know so well.
