Chris started to DJ in 1990 in the area of Giessen and one year later he became Resident DJ in the 'Red Brick' where he mainly played Hip Hop,Soul,Pop and House.

Yet in 1993 his interest in electronical music grew more and more. As a consequence of this musical turning point, Chris opened the 'Spinclub' in Giessen ( also an opportunity for him to play there) . This was not the only musical change , together with Andre Walter and Toni Rios he made his first Studio experiences and founded the labels Soap Records ( Tommy Bingel from Downtown Records Giessen belongs to it as well .

In 1995 Chris had to close down 'Spinclub' due to financial reasons and changed to a firm called 'Eye Q Records' in Frankfurt where he was in charge of licence invoicing and record pressing. The contacts made there helped him in his future DJ career. When the Omen was looking for a shortterm replacemnet for the fallen ill Pauli Steinbach, Chris got the chance to fill in. This booking turned out to be an opportunity for a new Residence club, the Omen. Up to to closing of 'Omen'in autumn 1998 Chris played there regularly together with many international guests.

In 1996 Chris left 'Eye Q' and founded his first own Label ' Fine Audio Recordings' at Under Cover Music Group in Neckargemuend. 'Audio' was was able to list 17 releases until the separation in spring 1999 ( the popular 'Audio 07 and 'Audio 11' are two of them, produced by Chris ) .

Besides that Chris discovered his passion for the radio and led the broadcast 'Evosonic Update' during the years of 1997-1999, which was broadcasted every Friday afternoon announcing partytipps and Vinylcritics on radio station 'Evesonic'.

In 1999 however the frequence for Evosonic was cancelled and the end of the broadcast was sealed. In terms of timing parallel to this event Chris separated from UGCM to whom he had to pass on his label 'Fine Audio Recordings' for legal reasons. In conclusion to this event was the change from his booking agency Urgent Contact to Cocoon in Frankfurt.

In order to still be able to publish his productions independantly, still in the same year Chris founded the labels, CLR,CLAU and along with Andre Walter Stigmata which from there on had been marketed in England by 'Prime Distribution'. CLR, Stigmata & CLAU records established very quickly which increased the worldwide inquiries for remixes and international DJ activity.

After the closing of the Omen residence in 1998 , Chris played for the first time in the Frankfurter club 'U 60311' in spring 1999. Subsequently a new residence wa born and hew was offered to create his own events every 4 weeks from November 1999 onwards which he called 'IT IS FRIDAY NIGHT' based on hie famous Evesonic radio exclamation. Every first Friday of the month Chris plays amongst national and international guests at 'U60311'. In the well recognised readers opinion poll of the Groove Magazine he was voted to position 3 'national DJ' in 1999 following Sven Vaeth and DJ Hell. In the following year Chris Liebing even improved his position to number 2 and one could also find him in the same position in the category 'producer'.

After the millenium Chris went 'ON AIR' again. On 3rd August 2000 Pauli Steinbach and Chris Liebing started the broadcast ' PITCH CONTROL' which ever since is broadcasted every Thursday night from 22.00 till 24.00 on HR XXL.
