Biography Baz F
Sound Architecture Motto
Music is the "what" that runs throughout his whole life. As a kid fiddling with his dads records, scratching them on a an old turntable, when they weren't at home, up till now, playing his sound for crowds and working for one of Holland's most respected party organizations. After being encouraged by a befriended DJ to give spinning records a try he fell in love with DJ-ing almost instantly. They're was no way back now! He got his first gig after only three months, playing to a crowd at Dancelicious. Naturally other parties were bound to follow. Playing parties like D-Fusion, Start&Depart, X-Tase, Diesel-U-Music and RWND!, to name a few, as well as radio shows like D-Fusion.nl and Mixomatose. Artists he says inspire him the most are people like Jamie Anderson, DJ Roog, Cassius and last but not least Joey Negro putting forth some real, all for love, discotinged house!! But it doesn't stop here, he feels music should be understood as a whole, that's why he doesn't narrow his musical taste to just electronic music but expands to genres like hiphop, punk and soul. He describes his style as a mix of groovy, funky, discotinged, pumpin' housemusic.
The other side of Music
Being particularly disappointed in the club scene on a local level Baz and friends started organizing proper nights at a local club, Dosiz was born. Throughout the two years that Dosiz Entertainment existed they put on about 7 events in both Holland and Belgium, eventually differing ideas about the concept led to it's demise and Baz found himself with a void.
Luckily he took up a job at Sound Architecture not long after that. At the time these guys put on the well known ON@Off_Corso nights, hosting DJ's like Sven Vath, Kevin Saunderson, Dave Clarke and Darren Emerson to name a few. These nights are now a major part of clubbing in Holland through a deep love of music, hard work and proper booking!
