Biografie Curteez
CuRTeeZ, born in Curaçao, grew up in a musical family among bands and singers, where at a very young age he felt that music was the way to go. Listening, learning & recording hundreds of DJ-mixes in the late 80s & early 90s from the radio, he knew that one day he would record and/ or hear his own mixes through the radio. Starting off as a DJ in his bedroom with a huge amount of records on different kinds on vinyl, he started to discover the art of mixing. After being heard and introduced to the outside world by Curaçao's number one DJ "BoogieMan", CuRTeeZ then started rocking the biggest clubs and beaches on the island including mixing tracks for the hottest radio-station on the island (Laser 101).
Arriving in Holland, CuRTeeZ had more in mind and started to expand his network, growing as an “All-round”- and “Dance/ House” -DJ. Playing different clubs in this new arena, CuRTeeZ met and played alongside many DJs and producers. Nowadays he works on innovative House- tracks under the name of ‘Culmberg Project’ alongside producer “XIVON” of”Emanuis-Productions”. CuRTeeZ also mixes tracks for DeepFM, hosted by DJ Cuzco. Characteristic for CuRTeeZ is the way he mixes Funky, Latin, Electro & groovyhouse all into one amazing flow, guaranteed to keep crowds on the dance floor for as long as he’s doing his thing. CuRTeeZ is also an expert in all-round parties, mixing 80’s/90’s/R&B/Hip-Hop/House (funky, Latin, groovy, electro) & more, in a matter that is unique. It’s fair to say that this DJ is not “The man with the master plan”, but “The master with a plan”. Watch him!
