During the early nineties dj Lowdown started to spin the decks. He had his first residency at semi-legendary Germinal club. In Belgium these nights are for many the first knowledge of electronic music. New demands came quickly, for example the cave parties (4it) and parties at the ultimate mine-buildings in Belgium. At this very moment Lowdown plays regularly for Supercharged (~= Katsu club), The Zoo, Muziek-O-Droom, Mosquito, and with regular spots at Hoogste Tijd (Netherlands), September '99 Lowdown started with workshops to introduce the young ones to electronic music and dj-skills/tricks. And his love for music doesn't stop; oh no he keeps going. Lowdown started the label Illtown and Dedkob (together with Peak). Before Illtown was already known for their great nights: illegal feasts/castle parties/
Spinning the decks you can describe his style going from tech-house to funky techno. Always rocking the place with the right amount of tribal percussion. So it certainly lightens up the floor.
Productions: A new release is out on Intec with Belgian techno man Stanny Franssen! EP is called called 'Blame It On The Technology' and got excellent reviews in MixMag, Dj Magazine, Mate, etc...! No need to say the sales are going trough the roof! Also studio work with Xentrix & JLK is being finished at this very moment. So it's clear you've got to watch out for this guy.
